The Telephony department at Tallaght Hospital provides an essential service for people calling the Hospital and also for staff who use the telephone network internally. This Department deal with up to 1,600 telephone calls per day and provides the following services:

Hospital Switchboard Service
The Reception Desk is located in the atrium at the front entrance to the hospital. The switchboard is located in the administration corridor.

Monday – Friday 07:30h – 20:30h
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 10:00h – 20:30h
The switchboard service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
All hospital extensions can also be reached without going via switchboard by dialling “414” followed by the required extension number.
